FAQ for special FALL issue on

TECHNOLOGY-MEDIATED LEARNING (TML)

  1. Will my submission be automatically accepted?
    The editors will accept those submissions that meet all the submission guidelines. We will give preference to those that include implications for the local Newfoundland context.
  2. What does technology-mediated learning mean?
    Technology-mediated learning refers to learning that involves mediation by some form of electronic technology including blended, mobile, online,web-based, virtual or distance learning. It also includes face-to-face learning that incorporates elements of technology.
  3. If my submission is accepted will I receive feedback to improve it?
    Yes. You will then revise and resubmit.
  4. Can I submit an opinion piece or a personal reflection?
    While opinions and reflections may be valuable forms of knowledge, this call for submissions does not invite these types of expression.
  5. As a student, if my submission is accepted or rejected, will my grades be affected?
    Decisions regarding acceptance have no bearing on any course grades.
  6. How and when will I know if my submission has been accepted?
    The editors will send a return email as soon as decisions have been made regarding acceptance.

  • Submission formats might include (but are not limited to) papers, reports or position papers.
  • Maximum 3000 words. Minimum 500.
  • Papers should follow APA format.
