Writing Assignments

You must do three (and only three) of the assignments below. Each assignment should be 2-4 pages (typed double-spaced or the handwritten equivalent). You are strongly encouraged (but not required) to revise and resubmit each assignment you submit. Please keep in mind that late assignments will not be accepted in the absence of a reasonable personal or medical excuse.

Revising Assignments: You have the option of revising and resubmitting each assignment you submit. Revised versions are due two weeks after the inital versions of the assignment are returned to the class (except revised versions of the final assignment which are due on the day of the final exam). For each assignment you resubmit, your final grade on that assignment will be the grade you receive on the revised version (unless your grade on the revised version is lower than the grade on your initial version).

Assignments:

Discuss how seriously the existence of the fallacy undermines the purpose of the material in which it occurs. Due: Monday, Feb. 19
