Welcome !

A common interest in nature, wildlife and the sea has enticed us to become research scientists in marine biology.  But in order to share our admiration for the beautiful things that surround us, we have also developed our skills in writing & photography.

In 1995, we have founded the Society for the Exploration & Valuing of the Environment (SEVE), which is dedicated to science and education.

We are currently based at the Ocean Sciences Centre (OSC) of Memorial University in Newfoundland (Canada). Please visit the Web site of the Mercier Lab at the OSC to learn about current research and teaching activities, and scientific publications.
