Ireland 2001

I was fortunate enough to spend some time in Ireland again this year, and made sure to get some nice pictures while I was there. The highlight of this trip was a visit to the Cliffs of Mohr, with a group of my friends. I'll be moving to Ireland permanently in 2002, and I can't wait to explore some more.

The Cliffs of Mohr

The cliffs were a great place to go on a day trip. Took a coup of hours to drive there from Limerick, but the sunset was well worth it.

Another picture perfect sunset from the cliffs.

My friends and I. We took a couple of cars up and hung out for the day. A touch cold, but I thought it was great compared to the weather back in Canada.

Another shot that shows the sheer drop off of the cliffs. Some people will lie on the ledge and just stare off for hours. Some people worry me.

The Cliffs of Mohr - you can see a watchtower on the top of this cliff. The sheer drop is just amazing.

My noble transport. I rented a 2001 Fiat Punto for the trip. For a 1.2L 4 cylinder engine, it had kick.

Another shot of the car - I took these before I left for my flight - at 5am. One of those last minute things.
