Call for papers: Special issue on cultural tourismDeadline: July 15, 2009 Culture & Tradition is published annually by the Folklore students of Memorial University of Newfoundland. In preparation for a forthcoming special issue on cultural tourism, the editors invite submissions dealing with any aspect of the interrelationship between tourism and culture, or with tourism as a cultural form, in Canada or internationally. Manuscripts should be 10-20 double-spaced pages in length, should follow the Turabian style manual (parenthetical citations-reference list format), and should include a 100-word abstract. Please e-mail submissions to culture@mun.ca as Word or RTF attachments, together with any accompanying photographs or illustrations (in greyscale only). Culture & Tradition is also pleased to accept book and multimedia reviews of folklore-related material (CDs, DVDs, websites, etc). For the forthcoming special issue, reviews of material relating to the topic of cultural tourism would be particularly appreciated. Reviews should be 700-1000 words long and double spaced. Please e-mail submissions to culture@mun.ca as Word or RTF attachments. Information on books available for review can be provided on request. Appel de textes: Un numéro spécial sur le tourisme culturelDate limite: 15 juillet 2009 La revue Culture & Tradition est publiée une fois par année par des étudiants en ethnologie de l’Université Memorial de Terre-Neuve. Le prochain numéro portera sur le tourisme culturel. Les éditeurs recueillent des articles sur la relation entre tourisme et culture, au Canada ou ailleurs dans le monde. Les articles doivent compter de dix à vingt pages à double interlignes. Les références doivent figurer entre des parenthèses (Turabian style). Les textes doivent inclure un résumé de 100 mots. Vous pouvez faire parvenir les propositions d’articles en format word ou RTF par courriel à l’adresse suivante: culture@mun.ca. Ils peuvent être accompagnés d’illustrations ou de photographies (nuance de gris seulement). Culture & Tradition publie également des comptes rendus de livres ou de multimédia (CD, DVD, site Internet et autres) en lien avec le folklore et l’ethnologie. Pour ce numéro spécial, les comptes rendus portant sur le tourisme culturel seront privilégiés. Les comptes rendus doivent compter de 700 à 1000 mots.
