This site contains information and previews about a number of video resources pertinent to nursing and allied health education. There are three main foci: ~Communication and Counselling in Nursing Practice (7 videos on 1 DVD) ~Spirituality in Health and Nursing Care (13 videos) ~Community Health and Family Nursing (9 videos) ~Resilience in Health Care Crises (1 video) Video is a valuable adjunct for use in classroom/seminar settings or in continuing education for health professionals. Audiovisual resources are known to enhance the learning experience of students. This is particularly so when these resources are linked to "real life" experiences, thereby enabling students to connect theory to practice. Engaging students and health professionals to actively participate in learning experiences is an ongoing challenge. The videos featured on this site propose to meet that challenge! |
