HP, on "The Little Mermaid"

I chose the song by Rebecca St. James titled "Reborn". This song is about finding God and realizing that He is what has been missing in your life, and by finding him, you've been reborn into a new person. I chose "The Little Mermaid" to use with this song, for one because its my all time favorite disney movie and i found that the song fit with the transformation of Ariel perfectly. We see in the movie that Ariel isnt happy under the sea and longs to be apart of the human world. Then she transforms into a human and gets a taste of what its like to be human and to be in love so in a sense she's reborn because she found Eric. The song specifically refrences finding the "one", and a longing for something more and i found that Ariel has found the one and she is longing for something more.
