AP, on "Monsters, Inc - Firework."

For my fan video I compiled clips from Disney Pixar’s Monster’s Inc. with Katy Perry’s “Firework” playing over it. To me, Sully embodies good ethics, loving they neighbour. Although Sully has been taught through his life that human children are abominations and things to be scared of he learned on his own that they are not. Sully then put his life at risk trying to save this human child, “Boo”.

Sully accepted the fact that he and Boo were different and, though reluctantly, gave her a chance and got to know her. He discovered he actually liked Boo and that they got along very well and that they weren’t that different.  Being accepting of others is a universal good ethic to follow as quoted in Leviticus 19:18 “you shall love your neighbor as yourself”. It is something that idealistically is communicated through each religion even if it is not always followed or the focal point of individual teachings or sermons.
