JP, on "BSB - Disney"

It took me some time to try to figure out what I thought was an “appropriate” song for this Disney fan video. After watching everyone else's video I wanted to make sure the song that I picked was as fitting as everyone else's choice. I finally settled on “What makes you different, makes you beautiful” by the Backstreet Boys. Being different and not being accepted seems to be an ongoing theme in many of the Disney movies. Since this was my first editing project I wanted to limit myself to one movie and not make it too difficult. But as I kept looking for that one movie, scenes from other movies kept coming to mind and I couldn't resist adding them. It soon escalated to eight movies. I really enjoyed doing this assignment more than what I thought I would have. I wanted my friends to see what I had been working on and since it was too big to e-mail I decided to post it on youtube – just for the day. But as it happened I got a comment from a girl in the US thanking me for making a video like that because she happened to struggle with being different because of a disorder called Asperger's Syndrome. This was a time consuming project but I enjoyed doing it so much. And that comment made it all worth while.
