Description:

The aim of 6411 is to provide an interactive forum in which students can
1) produce research proposals
2) learn the skills of research design
3) examine the role of method and theory as it relates to specific research topics

Course Requirements:

The course will operate as a series of student presentations and seminar/workshops. The course grade will be calculated as follows:

Participation: 20%

Presentation 1: 25%

Presentation 2: 25%

Paper: 30%

*The themes and topics for discussion will alter each time this course is provided in order to accommodate student research interests.
