My Interests...

Hi, I'm a M.Sc. student working with Dr. Paul Snelgrove. I am currently interested in macrofauna biodiversity in relation to sinking food supply. My study was conducted at the new Bonne Bay Marine Station and the majority of the field work was carried out by SCUBA divers. The major topics to be addressed in my study are: Is benthic diversity dependent on quality (diversity) or quantity of the food supply? Does the sinking spring bloom cause any significant response within the benthic community in terms of community structure?
