My Interests...

Hi, I am a Master's Student with Dr. Paul Snelgrove (Ocean Sciences Centre).  My research project is larval fish ecology: swimming capability of larval fish & the relationship between temperature, size and swimming speed. My goal with this project is to examine how the swimming capability of the larval fish develops under different temperature controls with age and developmental age increase, and what the relationship is between swimming capability and size, and later I will use the swimming speed data for modeling when take other physical- oceanography field data into account, at last to predict the distribution of the fish larvae in the field, the fish I use now are Atlantic Cod, Shorthorn Sculpin, smelt.
