Scenario & Highlights

This was series of games originally intended to be a competition for the "Running Grenade", a trophy I put together for the first Crossfire Competition I ran.  Twelve players committed to playing as six teams of two playing two games each.  The first series of games, "game 1" (see below for the link) were coordinated with some difficulty and completed.  Then I made the mistake of letting the interval between games get so long so as to drag on into the early part of Summer which meant coordinating all these folks for game 2 even more difficult than it was for game 1.  My problem was I went on a building and conversion spree (a Revell Panther, and Hanomags) and, as a result, lost momentum.  We ended up with five of six games played, so instead of  tallying points and awarding the trophy, I learned my lessons for the next time: have everything ready to go before you start!
The intent was to have the teams play as one side in game 1 and then change sides and play game 2.  I was trying to "set the players up" so that they would think Game 2 would be pretty much the same as Game 1, except they were having a go at being the other side.  Of course, Game 2 was completely different, as you will see...

Scenario Specific Rules (Recce, Hedgerows, Carriers, House Rules)

Both Games were played on exactly the same table layout as shown below.  In the pages
