22 May 1940 - The Day After Arras
Played 9 April 2001 - Crossfire & House Rules

Definition of "Split Game":

The Split Game concept is playing two or more separate games on separate tables which are related.  In the case of this scenario, a German attack is going in against a French town (Game 1), while the German flank is being counter-attacked (Game2).  Although both games have separate objectives, both games share the same reinforcement pool.   For a German player to win, the German player in both games must win and visa versa for the French/British.

The idea is to temper a player from grabbing as many reinforcements as he can so that he doesn't leave his ally high and dry...

Players on the same side (German or British/French) but in different games are not permitted to speak except on a successful radio check.  If successful, they may converse for two minutes (ie, "I really need that tank platoon we agreed you'd get before the game!  Can I have it, pleeeeeeeeze?") but in a different room, away from the table(s).

Tracking time (via the Hit the Dirt Crossfire supplement) will be necessary when reinforcements are called.  The attacking side will be the one which makes the die roll to check passage of time, at the beginning of its initiative.
