Game Setup (Back)
This was purely a hypothetical a meeting engagement between British and Germans.   Played on a 5 foot by 7 foot table (ping pong table).
  • The game played was, of course, Arty Conliffe's Crossfire using Tim's house rules (for armour, artillery, etc), using the meeting engagement method described in Rob Wolsky's scenario generator.
  • Multi-player considerations were as per my "Multiple Turnover" approach..
Objective

The picture shows from which side of the table both sides enter
  • River: passable to AFVs with a "bog roll" causing the vehicle to be stuck for the initiative.  Infantry may cross as per normal CF rules.
  • Cut outs without trees are rough ground.
  • Bocage hedgerows on the German side are treated as per CF Competition 2.
  • The grass mat is the new Woodland Scenics vinyl backed mat.
