A Jagdpanther Hunting We Will Go... (4)

Page 1

With the German situation becoming quite desperate, Dave sends some of his infantry forward to occupy the river and move towards the bridge under cover of the depression of the river.  Figures in the foreground are Revell from the Panzergrenadier and engineer sets.  The stand in the background is a good old edition 1 Airfix Panzerschreck guy with a Matchbox crewman from the Hanomag set acting as loader.  The British are above the river bank a little ways away to the right...

One of John's Revell Cromwells - this may well be the deadly one!  ESCI infantry are to the left.  To the right can be seen the rear of the Firefly

Here are the rest of John's forces.  Revell Cromwell, Matchbox Firefly and Matchbox and Airfix infantry (including a Commando!).

And this is what is seen by John's forces - the last Jagdpanther moving forward!  German infantry can be seen in the river and the carriers in the foreground are scratch built.  The tension builds...  You can refer back to the first picture on the first page to see John's Firefly bearing down on this poor wee lonely Jagdpanther.  As the German, I can't bear to remember it...

The final infantry confrontation at the bridge.  A British Vickers is on the opposite side of the bridge...
