I undertook this project because one
of my Fujimi Panzer I models had lost a turret. I couldn't very well
waste it, and I didn't want to have just one of these conversions, so I
made two superstructures, glued one on and used the other to switch with
the turret for another Panzer I. |
 The
two Panzer I models mentioned above are in the foreground while two of
their friends are behind them (the Panzer I on the right being an ESCI
1-72 model). |
 The
construction was very simple and I used a large number of my books which
have pictures of the 10 SIG auf Panzer I. I'm not sure why I thought
it was important that the Pz I hull access hatch remain exposed: perhaps
it was the dearth of detail inside the superstructure? Nevertheless,
these make great wargaming pieces. |
