We All Make Mistakes

KW, on "We all Make Mistakes:"

I chose the films, “Frozen” and “The Beauty and the Beast” because I believe they portray a very important message. The song I used in my video was “Forgiveness” by Tobymac. I thought this song was great and straight to the point. Tobymac explains that everybody makes mistakes, nobody is perfect and everyone should find forgiveness in their heart. In this video, I showed the trouble Elsa cause for everybody and how she turned her back and left her sister, Anna. Once Anna senses that Elsa is in danger, her love for her sister overturns her anger and Anna instantly forgives Elsa. In “The Beauty and the Beast” Belle also shows incredible grace while she forgives the Beast for the terrible things he did to her and her father. As the song says, everyone makes mistakes. The Beast acted mean and angry in the beginning but Belle’s love and forgiveness brought out a sweet and gentle side to the Beast. Proverbs 25:21 says “If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.” I can really appreciate this as Belle proves that by treating the Beast as a person rather than her enemy, she brings out the better side of him.
