SCWK 7421 - Qualitative Data Analysis
 

Course Description

Building on SCWK 7411, this course focuses on working with qualitative data.  It provides an historical context for the major approaches to qualitative data analysis, and will require students to demonstrate proficiency in the use of several different approaches.  Topics covered include content analysis, historiography, the analysis of social settings, analysis of narratives and life histories, constructivism, and deconstruction.  The course will also familiarize students with current software used in qualitative data analysis.
 

Course Schedule

Class times will be negotiated as necessary.  The schedule below assume that the class meets daily from 9:30 A.M. to 1:00 PM.
